Happy Friday, SJHS!
Normally our updates are sent on Mondays, but this one couldn't wait:
Get in the holiday spirit by visiting the library to participate in our library book tree holiday project!
Now thru December 19, a holiday tree will be placed in the library with paper ornaments that lists book needs of the library (books chosen by students and faculty). We ask that students, faculty, and staff help us by taking an ornament and purchasing the named book. It’s a very small way to give back a LOT this season! The books should be brought back to the library (directly to Ms. Ziemski) and then can be dedicated to any person of your choosing – family members, friends, graduating seniors, etc… It’s your chance to help leave a legacy here at Stonewall. There are about 200 books that have been requested (mostly from students) - just over the last month. That means if every faculty member took just one ornament, we'd hit beyond our goal! Students have already started taking ornaments - we are so moved. For participation instructions, visit the library or see Ms. Ziemski for more details. Help us make this an even brighter season for every student and teacher!
Special thanks to Jacquie Foxgood, Eli Hyde, and Greg Hyde (and his class) for their help and support.
Love,
Your Library
